Values-Based goals strengthen the foundation of values that the youth prioritizes and should be tracked using the journal. The parent will help choose and develop goals but it's the responsibility of the youth's Accountability Partner to make sure the goal is accomplished. Values-Based goals should be simple to achieve and should not require more than nine to-dos in order to accomplish.
The journal should be placed in the youth's room and referred to often. The journal is a tool for parents to use to help the youth focus on accomplishing Things of Value (go to practical applications "Achieve"). |
